About MA-4043 AlSi5

MA-4043 (AlSi5) is the classic filler metal for aluminium-silicon casting alloys and for 6xxx-series wrought alloys (AlMgSi). The weld metal flows well, has low hot-cracking sensitivity and gives smooth beads with little spatter. Not suitable for colour-matched anodising or for AlMg alloys above 3 % magnesium. Typical applications: repair welding of castings, profile structures, vehicle building, heat exchangers.
